Golf Outings are ideal for company outings, fundraisers or simply getting a group of friends together for a fun day on the course! Choosing a venue that’s enjoyable for your participants is hugely important, and Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club is a perfect choice, offering a convenient location and a picturesque layout that’s fun for all skill levels.
Our popular layout features 18 picturesque holes situated in the heart of New Hampshire’s vibrant Seacoast Region. Only minutes from downtown Portsmouth and about an hour from both Boston and Portland, SHGC is convenient for your golfers and easy for most folks to get to from central New England. Our course is always in great shape, and our outdoor Outing Pavilion can accommodate golf outings up to 144 players, and we also offer delicious catering options from Great Circle Catering of Portsmouth, NH — If you’re planning a golf outing this season, we’d love to hear from you!

Mini Outings / 9 to 40 players
- Groups of 9-40 players are considered a Mini Outing
- Mini Outings can be reserved Monday – Thursday anytime (sorry, no Fridays, weekends or holidays)
- Pre-payment (of the first 4-some’s greenfees & golf car fees) is required to confirm any outing reservation
- All remaining greenfees & golf car fees are to be paid on the day of play
- Final headcount is due 48-hours before the Outing (after this point the pre-payment becomes non-refundable)
Full Outings / 41 to 144 players
Groups of 41-144 players are considered Full Outings
Full Outings can be reserved Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (sorry, no Fridays, weekends or holidays)
Signed Outing Agreement is required to confirm the outing reservation
Final headcount & payment in full for all golf/golf cars/catering (if applicable) are due 5-days before the date of play; if this deadline is missed, we will have no choice but to cancel the reservation
Other Golf Outing Notes
All alcohol must be supplied by, sold by, and served by Sagamore Golf, Inc. (any/all unauthorized ‘outside’ alcohol will be confiscated by SGI)
All event alcohol service will be governed according to State Liquor Laws and Sagamore policy
Shot-Gun starts require a minimum of 100 players
Shot-Gun starts must begin before 9 AM

Course Aeration Notice
To ensure optimal playing conditions throughout the season, Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club will be aerating and top dressing greens on June 9th and 10th, with June 11th reserved as a rain date.
These important maintenance practices improve turf health, drainage, and overall course quality. While golfers may notice temporary effects on the greens, this work is essential to providing the best possible playing experience throughout the summer.
Reduced rates will be available during this maintenance period. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to invest in the long-term health and playability of the course.
