Our 2026 Tournaments
Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club currently administers two Club Tournaments annually for our GHIN Members to take part in — Please know that our Club Tournaments are meant to be fun, first and foremost, and we expect our participants to share that mindset. The Sagamore Cup / June 27th & 28th, 2026
he Sagamore Cup is one of our most anticipated each year with huge bragging rights on the line! This annual tournament showcases 14-player teams representing each Sagamore course (Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club & Sagamore Spring Golf Club) — The two teams will compete against each other in a super-fun weekend event, much like the renowned ‘Ryder Cup’ matches!
SHGC QUALIFYING DETAILS & COSTS
OPEN QUALIFYING runs from May 25th thru June 21st
Qualifying Ground Rule: Due to prolonged wet weather patterns, SHGC is allowing a lift-clean-drop option in all fairways and primary rough throughout qualifying (no relief in ‘Natural Areas’)
Qualifying is open to all active Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club GHIN members
NEW! Players may attempt no more than five (5) qualifying rounds
Qualifiers are responsible for booking their own tee-times
Qualifying rounds must be played with at least one other Qualifying participant
Players must turn in their signed and attested score card immediately after their round
18-hole scores only will be accepted
SHGC’s final Team of 14 players will consist of the 8 lowest gross qualifiers, followed by the 6 lowest net qualifiers

Normal Greenfees & Golf Car Fees apply for each qualifying attempt
SAGAMORE CUP MATCHES
This year’s Cup matches are scheduled for Saturday, June 27th & Sunday, June 28th
6/27 (Sat) matches will be hosted by Sagamore Spring Golf Club (11 AM start)
6/28 (Sun) matches will be hosted by Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club (10 AM start)
TOURNAMENT COSTS & NOTES
Those who make SHGC’s final team of 14 will each pay a $135 Tournament Fee (which covers 2-days of golf, golf car rentals, Puma team golf shirt & delicious BBQ dinner)
Sagamore Spring Golf Club will be hosting the celebratory BBQ & Cup presentation following Sunday’s (6/28) matches
The 2026 R.D. Luff Club Championship / August 1st & 2nd
Our annual Club Championship is a fun, competitive event open to all active SHGC GHIN members
QUALIFYING DETAILS
Qualifying runs from July 1st thru July 26th
All Qualifiers must be active Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club GHIN members
Players must designate each qualifying attempt when they check-in for their tee-time
Qualifying players may attempt no more than five qualifying rounds
Qualifying players are responsible for booking their own tee-times
Qualifying players must play their qualifying round with at least one other SHGC qualifying participant
NEW FOR SINGLE QUALIFIERS! During the qualifying period, we will be allotting one tee-time slot (for up to four singles) on the following three Saturdays at 9:30 AM (July 11th, July 18th, July 25th) for those Sagamore GHIN Members who wish to qualify but don’t know any fellow GHIN Members to qualify with. This slot will be available for single qualifiers only, and we ask that interested players please book in person OR call us at 603-531-7243 to request a spot (online booking will not be available for these three tee time slots). Also note that this tee time will be opened up to the public at the 48-hour deadline unless we have 2 to 4 qualifiers booked
Qualifying players must turn in their signed and attested score card immediately after their round (to our Clubhouse staff)
18-hole scores only accepted
Rounds played outside of the qualifying period will not be accepted
The Championship will feature a Men’s Gross & Net Division, as well as a Ladies Net Division
MEN’S: The 7 low gross qualifiers will be selected first, followed by the 7 low net qualifiers (Note: 2025’s Club Champions automatically qualify and will be the automatic #1 seed in each division)
LADIES’: The number of Qualifying spots will be dependent upon the number of Qualifying participants
This is an Amateur event; individuals who are enrolled in the PGA Program are not eligible
QUALIFYING & CHAMPIONSHIP COSTS
Qualifying Rounds: Normal Greenfees & Golf Car Fees apply for all attempts
Championship Rounds: Greenfees & Golf Car Fees will be complimentary on August 1st & 2nd for all Championship participants
For those of you who are interested, SHGC’s GHIN Handicap Committee consists of two individuals: Chelsea Faustino (Club Manager) and Ty Sanborn (Co-Owner)

Course Aeration Notice
To ensure optimal playing conditions throughout the season, Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club will be aerating and top dressing greens on June 9th and 10th, with June 11th reserved as a rain date.
These important maintenance practices improve turf health, drainage, and overall course quality. While golfers may notice temporary effects on the greens, this work is essential to providing the best possible playing experience throughout the summer.
Reduced rates will be available during this maintenance period. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to invest in the long-term health and playability of the course.
