Tee Time Notes

• Mount Hood Golf Course accepts tee times up to seven days in advance.
• You can book online, in person, or by calling us at 781-665-6656.
• Tee times are highly recommended, especially between May and October.
• Groups of more than eight players are considered golf outings and may require a deposit or prepayment.

Our No-Show Policy

Understanding Sagamore’s No-Show Policy

When a reservation isn’t honored and no notice is given, the course loses revenue that it can’t recover. To help address the impact of no-shows, all Mount Hood Golf Course reservations require a valid credit card. The card is used only to cover applicable no-show fees. When booking online, you’ll be asked to provide your card information, which will be stored securely in your customer account for future reservations.

• Why do we require a credit card? It is required only to cover no-show fees if they apply to your reservation.
• No-show fees: $8 per no-show player on weekdays and $13 per no-show player on weekends and holidays.
• Will my card be charged for the tee times I reserve? No. Green fees will not be charged to your card. Each golfer can pay their own green fees when checking in at the course.
• Can I change or cancel my tee time? You can change or cancel a reservation by logging in to your Mount Hood Golf Course tee-time account or by calling the course during normal business hours. If you don’t have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one the first time you book online.
• What if the weather is poor? Please call if the weather is too poor to play. No-show fees will not be charged when the weather is obviously inclement.
• Cancellation deadline: To avoid no-show fees, confirm any changes or cancellations at least 24 hours before your tee time.

Our Golf Season

• Mount Hood Golf Course is typically open from early April through mid-December, weather permitting.
• If there is no snow on the ground, we make every effort to stay open as long as turf and frost conditions allow.
• We are closed on Christmas Day so our staff can enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

Our Rate Seasons

Mount Hood Golf Course has two rate seasons:

• Peak Season: March 16 through Thanksgiving
• Off-Season: The day after Thanksgiving through March 15

Season Passes

• Mount Hood Golf Course offers several Season Pass options. Visit our Rates page for pass pricing.
• Season Passes are not memberships and do not provide special treatment or preference. Mount Hood is a public golf course, and we aim to treat every customer with the same courtesy and respect.

Golf Outings & Special Events

• Mount Hood Memorial Park & Golf Course offers a picturesque venue for golf outings and special events.
• We host events ranging from golf outings and anniversaries to weddings.

Golf Car Rules and Notes

Please check with our Pro Shop staff and starter for the golf car rules in effect that day.

Practice Putting Green

• Mount Hood Golf Course has two practice greens where golfers can warm up or practice before and after their round.
• Short chipping is allowed as long as you do not make divots or ball holes. Please keep safety and courtesy in mind.

Push Cart Rentals

We have a limited number of BagBoy push carts available to rent for nine or 18 holes.

GHIN Handicap Service

• Mount Hood Golf Course offers full USGA GHIN handicap services. An annual fee applies.
• The active New England GHIN season runs from April 1 through November 15.

Golf Club Rentals

• Mount Hood Golf Course has a limited number of club rental sets.
• If your group needs multiple sets, please call ahead at 781-665-6656 so we can plan accordingly.
• Golf balls and tees are not included and must be purchased separately.

Snack Bar & Bar

• Our Snack Bar offers food and drinks for golfers, including:
  • Hot and cold sandwiches
  • Burgers and hot dogs
  • A variety of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages
• Our outdoor seating area is a great place to relax before or after your round and tally your scorecard.

Pro Shop & Golf Merchandise

Our Pro Shop offers a selection of golf apparel, balls, bags, gloves, and other golf accessories.

On-Course Beverage Cart

We do our best to operate the Beverage Cart daily during the busiest times of the golf season. It serves ice-cold beer and refreshments, along with light snacks for golfers to enjoy on the course. Operation depends on the weather and the volume of play.

Frost Delays

Frost delays are possible in early spring and late fall, so please be prepared on colder mornings. Delays can range from 15 minutes to two hours, depending on the opening time and weather. Play will not be suspended beyond 10 AM.
