About Mount Hood Golf Course
A 'Public Golf Gem' at the Heart of the Melrose Community
Built in the 1930’s, Mount Hood Golf Course has been the pride of Melrose and its community. The course is carved from 300+ wooded acres of parkland, and it offers a wonderful rural setting that’s located within 15 minutes of downtown Boston. The course is filled with character, and golfers of all types will enjoy the playing experience. You Gotta Love Fall Golf!
Remember that the fall season is one of the best times to tee-it-up in New England — The summer crowds thin out a bit… the weather is crisp & refreshing… the course conditions are typically at their best… and the Fall foliage can be stunning! We still have a lot of golf left to be played folks, so keep those grooves clean and we’ll see you on the fairways soon!
